What to expect: Extended consultation & anatomy check – A no-obligation consultation where we discuss your ideas and I can make suggestions that best suit your anatomy. During this appointment I can map out a cohesive and unique look just for you that suits your budget and style and answer any questions you may have. Procedure(s) – Performed using the highest quality equipment and verified jewellery (with lifetime guarantee against manufacture defects!), aseptic technique and skin draping, with a 100% disposable and sterile set-up as standard. Includes 1 x can of 177ml NeilMed aftercare spray, per procedure sitting. Interim check-ups – When healing multiple piercings at a time it may be beneficial to book additional check-ups so we can pay extra attention to your progress and aftercare regime. These appointments can include downsizing/jewellery changes where required (jewellery charged separately).

Consultation

Price: Free

Appointment duration: ~15mins -1hr

What to expect: No-obligation consultations are included before and after all procedure sittings. These are typically carried out in a face-to-face meeting but may also include additional discussions online or over the phone. A proper consultation is important as it allows you to make confident and fully informed decisions about your body, so take your time and remember no questions are silly. I’m all ears!

Custom jewellery order & styling

Price: Free consultation and installation, plus cost of jewellery

What to expect: You may need to attend a face-to-face consultation so I can take measurements and perform an anatomy check to ensure your new piece(s) will fit perfectly. Suited to your style and budget, I can source thousands of verified and stunning pieces that are guaranteed to last a lifetime with care. If you still can’t find what you’re looking for I can even get something made specially for you! All jewellery orders include free jewellery sterilization and fitting as part of my jewellery change service. Please note: All jewellery orders require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total jewellery cost before any orders are placed, with the remaining 50% to be paid on collection.

Delivery times: Depending on the piece, supplier and requests, manufacture and delivery can take anywhere between a couple of days to several months. I’ll be able to provide a more accurate timescale once orders are being finalized and will always contact you with any updates once orders are placed. Additionally, if you do have a specific date in mind please do let me know at the point of consultation and I’ll do my best to help!

Downsizing

Price: Free fitting, plus cost of jewellery

Appointment duration: ~15mins – 1hr depending on quantity/placements. Recommended booking intervals will be discussed in more detail during your consultation

Why?: After swelling has subsided, most initial piercing jewellery (wearable area) will need to be replaced to ensure a better fit and prevent risks, such as migration. Prompt downsizing when required can also aid healing further by preventing snags or other incidents that may occur due to excess length.

What to expect: All downsizes are performed using a sterile and disposable set-up with verified jewellery that carries a lifetime guarantee against manufacture defects. For piercings that require attachments, I can either transfer the original ones over or upgrade them to something fancy; the choice is yours! Jewellery charged separately. If you’re after anything specific that I don’t currently have in stock you may be interested in my custom jewellery service!

‘Faux’ & ‘floating’ placements

Occasionally, anatomical restrictions may seemingly limit placement options and the piercing(s) you’ve dreamed of having suddenly appear to be out of the question. However, with a bit of creativity alternative placements can often be utilized to give a unique and similar look! For example, an alternative to a snug piercing could be an intentionally placed conch and mid-helix, and an alternative to a standard navel piercing could be a floating navel. Don’t lose hope yet!

Jewellery change

What to expect: All jewellery changes are performed using a sterile and disposable set-up with verified jewellery that carries a lifetime guarantee against manufacture defects. This service is ideal if you’ve already decided on your jewellery upgrade(s). If you haven’t already decided or you’re after anything specific that I don’t currently have in stock you may be interested in my jewellery viewing or custom jewellery service!

Jewellery & piercing cleaning

Price: Piercing cleaning: From £5. Jewellery re-process: From £10

Appointment duration: General piercing/jewellery cleaning – ~15 mins, depending on quantity/placements. Jewellery re-process – ~1hr, depending on quantity

What to expect: These services can be booked together or separately and can cover single or multiple piercings per sitting. Jewellery cleaning – From time to time jewellery will gather dead skin and debris which requires a regular clean/polish to keep it looking as shiny as it did leaving the studio. For the majority of placements this can usually be managed effectively at home with the right tools, but if your piercing’s in an area that’s hard to maintain yourself you may need to enlist someone to help you. If you prefer this to be done in the studio I can clean your jewellery effectively using fully sterile and disposable equipment. For particularly stubborn build up on attachments or more intricate pieces you may prefer to have them temporarily removed, re-processed and refitted in the studio while you wait. This is carried out in a designated area and involves a deep jewellery clean (manually and ultrasonically), polish, steam sterilization in the autoclave, and re-fitting once cooled. Piercing cleaning – A deep clean using a sterile and disposable set-up to keep your piercing in tip-top condition!

Jewellery removal

Price: Complete removal: From £5. Retainer: Free fitting, plus cost of jewellery

Appointment duration: ~15 mins, depending on quantity/placements.

What to expect: It’s always a sad day when a piercing’s retired, but whether the piercing was performed by me or not, if you’re looking to permanently remove a piercing this is the service for you; fast and efficient jewellery removal using a sterile and disposable set up. If you need to hide your piercings for commitments such as work or school but don’t want to lose them, there’s also the possibility of swapping to a glass/skin coloured retainer for concealment instead; just ask in store!

Jewellery viewing

Price: Free consultation, plus cost of jewellery

Appointment duration: ~15mins – 1hr.

What to expect: Fancy a change of jewellery but not quite sure what you want/need? Or just having a browse? I can help you! Pick my brains, discuss all the possibilities and explore the ever-changing range of stock. If you fall in love with a shiny in stock I can even fit it there and then free of charge as part of my jewellery change service; just pay for the jewellery! Microdermal attachment change

What to expect: Safe and efficient attachment change using a sterile and disposable set up, including jewellery that comes with a lifetime guarantee against manufacturer defects (jewellery charged separately). Please note: I always recommend waiting at least a year or more before changing dermal tops.

Microdermal removal

Price: From £5

Appointment duration: ~15mins.

What to expect: If your dermal needs to be removed for any reason I can do this safely in the studio using a sterile and disposable set up. Commonly regarded as a temporary piercing, they typically last between months and years depending on placement, aftercare and jewellery. However, when dermals are rejecting careful removal can prevent from additional scarring if caught early enough.

Stretching

Price: From £10, plus cost of jewellery

Appointment duration: ~30 mins incl. set up

What to expect: This service is for fully healed and matured piercings only. Gradual, safe, piercing enlargement suitable for a range of placements using high quality glass or titanium (lifetime guaranteed!) in small increments, with a fully sterile and disposable set up. If you’re not interested in gradual stretching and want an instant effect you might prefer my high gauge needle piercing or punching services!

Styling

Price: Free consultation and fitting, plus cost of jewellery

Appointment duration: ~30 mins – 1hr

What to expect: Tailored piercing styling using high quality jewellery that carries a lifetime guarantee. This service is similar to jewellery changes but more specifically refers to planning a full cohesive look. I can style existing piercings too but if you’re after a certain aesthetic/jewellery type I usually recommend styling is done before the addition of piercings. If you spot your ideal jewellery in stock I can even fit it there and then at no extra cost as part of my jewellery change service, using a fully sterile and disposable set up. This service is free and jewellery is charged separately. Additionally, if you like something that isn’t currently in stock, this can be sourced for you through my custom jewellery order service.

Troubleshooting

Price: Free consultation

Appointment duration: ~30 mins – 1hr.

What to expect: A consultation to check over your piercing(s) and discuss any concerns. Please note: I’m not a doctor so I cannot diagnose you, however I can give you advice and recommend appropriate aftercare to help make your piercing happy again. I always recommend that you relay any concerns at the earliest opportunity to a medical professional and myself so that your healing can be documented and aftercare tweaked if necessary.

All techniques and equipment including jewellery used during procedures are designed to reduce trauma to a fresh piercing and consequently promote happy, uneventful healing. Aftercare procedures are tried and tested, and where required, piercings come with sterile saline spray (Neilmed) and gauze for safe and convenient cleaning. However, no matter how carefully a piercing is treated during healing, accidents can happen and piercings may get bumped, squished or snagged during every day activities. Trauma or contact whilst healing could create problems such as bumps, excessive swelling, migration, rejection, embedding and infection.
